At EMO Hannover, the world premier trade fair for the metal working industry September 19-24 2011, WhizCut of Sweden will introduce WhizHip. WhizHip is a series of toolholders for Swiss type lathes that are prepared for high pressure coolant. With WhizHip the high pressure coolant is lead through the toolholder and aimed at the insert at a perfect angle for optimal cooling of the insert cutting edge and greater control of the developing chips. The WhizHip toolholders use a 1/8” NPT connection to connect the coolant from the machine. There is therefore no need to invest in any special gang plate.

The WhizHip toolholders are available for all WhizThread and all size 15 WhizCut inserts.
