WhizHip is the ideal match between a complete high pressure coolant system and the WhizCut tool-holder WhizHip and WhizIn. Most WhizCut inserts and boring bars can be combined with a coolant-through holder.

FLEXIBLE - WhizHip is a distribution system for high pressure coolant, capable of handling pressures up to 200 bar, and at the same time is flexible for setup and tool changes. The system is carefully developed with flexible and hard-wearing stainless steel braided hoses, quick change couplings and adjustable nozzles. WhizHip high pressure coolant system performs great, leading to:

TIME SAVING - WhizHip meets the ever changing conditions in a modern machine shop. When changing tools the hoses can be connected to the quick change coupling without the use of any other tools. When there is no possibility of internal coolant, WhizCut offers a bendable stainless hose with an adjustable nozzle, that quickly can be positioned to the right cutting zone as it does not twist in the coupling. This means no more reaching in difficult places with extra tools.

EXACT - WhizHip and WhizIn toolholders are all prepared for internal high pressure coolant. The high pressure coolant is led through the toolholder and exits with precisely directed jets. The coolant shoots close to the cutting zone, perfectly controlled, between the forming chip and the cutting edge. Coolant pointed at the exact position gives consistent performance and better parts. When using high pressure it controls and breaks the chip thanks to its concentration at the cutting edge.

STABLE - WhizHip is great for high pressure and can be used for up to 200 Bar (2900 PSI). The metal braided hosing is designed to be flexible and at the same time to withstand heat from hot chips shooting from the material. The WhizHip distribution system includes five or eight way distribution blocks which are easily mounted in the machine.
